Running This Encounter

Flying snakes are best used in groups of 4-6 to pose a threat to low-level parties. They dart in and out of combat, striking with hit-and-run tactics before retreating to higher ground. Use their flight and small size to weave through difficult terrain and around obstacles. Place them in trees, cliff faces, or cramped underground caverns where their mobility advantage is maximized.

Combat Tactics

Flying snakes swarm a single target, focusing fire to down enemies quickly before they can respond. They use their Bite attack relentlessly, staying airborne to avoid melee retaliation and only landing when necessary.

Environment & Setting

Dense jungles, tropical forests, swamps with overgrown canopy, or underground caverns with high ceilings. Ideal for encounters where vertical terrain and environmental hazards play a major role.
