At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the healing increases by 1d4 for each slot level above 1st.

Cast Healing Word as a bonus action to heal an ally from range without sacrificing your action for attacks or control spells. Position yourself behind the frontline to maintain distance while remaining useful. Prioritize healing allies before they drop to 0 HP—preventing damage is more efficient than reactive healing. At higher levels, upcast to 2nd level or higher for d8 or d10 healing when allies take significant burst damage.
