Meteor Swarm
EvocationBlazing orbs of fire plummet to the ground at four different points you can see within range. Each creature in a 40-foot-radius sphere centered on each point you choose must make a dexterity saving throw. The sphere spreads around corners. A creature takes 20d6 fire damage and 20d6 bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A creature in the area of more than one fiery burst is affected only once. The spell damages objects in the area and ignites flammable objects that aren't being worn or carried.

Player Guide
Position the four 40-foot spheres to maximize enemy clustering while minimizing ally overlap—use the spell's flexibility to catch scattered foes across multiple locations. Since the spell deals both fire and bludgeoning damage, it bypasses some resistances and is particularly devastating against tightly grouped enemies like armies or gathered casters. Always cast this spell when enemies have already used their reactions or movement, and consider using it as a devastating finale to a combat rather than opening move, as it uses your 9th-level slot.
DM Tips
Clarify that the caster must see all four target points and choose them when casting; they cannot adjust impacts mid-casting. The damage is split 50/50 between fire and bludgeoning, so note this when creatures have differential resistances or immunities.
