Player Guide
Cast Greater Restoration after combat to remove conditions that would otherwise cripple your party for the session, such as curses, petrification, or exhaustion from a grueling journey. This spell is best used proactively when you know a curse or petrification threat is coming, or reactively when a party member becomes afflicted and cannot contribute effectively. Coordinate with your party's resources—if a cleric has limited spell slots, decide whether to use this powerful spell now or save it for a critical moment later. Remember that removing even one level of exhaustion can be the difference between a character who can continue adventuring and one who collapses.

DM Tips
Clarify with your player whether a curse is removable via Greater Restoration before they cast it—some story-critical curses should require a quest or special ritual. Be mindful of exhaustion abuse; exhaustion is meant to be a significant resource, so consider whether using this spell trivializes survival mechanics or appropriately rewards clever planning.
