Player Guide
Revivify's power lies in its strict time constraint—you have exactly one minute after a creature dies to cast it, so designate someone to track death and position a cleric or other caster accordingly during dangerous encounters. The spell requires you to touch the target, so keep your party members within 5 feet of your position or plan repositioning after death occurs. Remember that returning with 1 HP leaves the target extremely vulnerable, so coordinate with allies to provide healing, protection, or positioning immediately after revival to prevent instant re-death.

DM Tips
Enforce the one-minute deadline strictly—once that minute passes, Revivify fails and death becomes permanent until higher-level resurrection magic is available, maintaining tension and consequences. Clarify with your table that Revivify requires somatic components and touch, so the caster must be within 5 feet of the deceased and able to move/act, which adds tactical positioning requirements.
