Player Guide

Cast True Seeing before entering environments where deception magic is expected, particularly against casters or in dungeons known for illusions. The 6-hour duration allows scouting without maintaining concentration during combat. Use this spell to identify invisible enemies, polymorphed threats, and scrying sensors, turning information warfare decidedly in your favor. Position the recipient where they can communicate discoveries to allies who lack truesight.

DM Tips

True Seeing pierces most deception your enemies rely on—use it to telegraph that players have adapted and should expect less illusory-focused encounters. Remember it doesn't prevent deception in normal darkness or fog; it only reveals magical falsehoods.
